The Beatles, Queen and U2 inducted
The Beatles, Queen and U2 were the first rock bands to be inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in a spectacular ceremony in London on Thursday night. Queen were voted by members of the public and beat the likes of Pink Floyd, ABBA and Led Zeppelin whereas The Beatles and U2 were chosen by music industry experts.
Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen were joined on stage by Paul Rogers (Bad Company, Free) to perform "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions". The ceremony will be shown on British TV on Sunday night local time.
