Velvet Revolver's US fans will be able to hear some of the B-side cover versions from some of their overseas singles. Later this month the band release a new version of their first album, "Contraband", with an additional disc of covers — Aerosmith's "No More No More", Cheap Trick's "Surrender" and Nirvana's "Negative Creep", which they haev included in their live shows. Bassist Duff McKagan was quoted as saying "There's no B-sides in America anymore, but in Europe and Japan, it's still a big deal having, you know, releasing singles and having these different B-sides," and is happy that these will now be available for fans to listen to at home, since they are so important overseas. The band continue to add covers to their shows and McKagan mentioned they've worked up a version of Queen's "Tie Your Mother Down" and are looking at footage for a possible concert DVD soon.
