Nirvana fan bids $7300 on eBay

The bidding war on eBay to share a private plane ride and lunch with former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic ended December 5th with an astonishing $7,300 bid. The winning bid out of 68 total bids, guarantees the winner a private flight on Novoselic’s Cessna 182 Skylane jet from any West Coast airport a private lunch in a city of his choice and back home again.

Novoselic, a devoted political activist and aspiring Washington State candidate since his rock n’ roll heyday, will benefit the non-profit non-partisan political organization People For the American Way. According to the auction description, the organization is committed to "promoting awareness, civic participation and providing legislators with the support they need to counter the agenda of the extreme right and protect against encroachments upon our freedoms and civil rights."
