Bon Jovi win DVD award
Worldwide stars BON JOVI have received the Digital Entertainment Group' s (DEG) "Creative Excellence Award" for the Music on DVD Category for the live concert DVD , "This Left Feels Right: Live Limited Edition." The DVD was directed by Anthony M. Bongiovi (a brother of Jon Bon Jovi,) who accepted the award at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
"This Left Feels Right: Live Limited Edition" was released in February 2004 by Island/Def Jam Records (Universal Music Group.) The DVD package included live concert performance filmed in high definition video at two November 2003 Bon Jovi concerts at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. The concerts featured live performances of Bon Jovi's biggest hits as reworked on the "This Left Feels Right" CD (released in October 2003).
In addition to the unique live performances, the DVD included interview footage with the band and a groundbreaking interactive poker game through which fans could participate. If viewers won, a hand of the virtual poker they could access live concert footage of the band Hyde Park, London concert before 92,000 fans. (If they didn’t win, their interaction with the band took the form of good-natured mocking of their card skills.)
