Slash and co. rock hard
Velvet Revolver are in the midst of a world tour, having just performed across the UK before shows in Japan and Australia. On Saturday night they performed in London, UK and delivered a spectacular show, only let down by the average acoustics of the venue. Velvet Revolver played a 90 minute set that included tracks from their multi-million selling deput album Contraband. They also performed 3 Guns N' Roses songs - I Used To Love Her, It's So Easy and Mr Brownstone with the crowd going ballistic.
Last week the group confirmed US tour dates for March and April 2005.
Velvet Revolver are Guns N' Roses bandmates Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, Wasted Youth guitarist Dave Kushner and Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland. Their debut album Contraband shot straight to No 1 in the US Billboard charts selling over quarter of a million copies in the week of release.
