Foghat guitarist Rod Price dies

Rod Price, the 57 year old former guitarist of rock group Foghat, has died after falling in a stairway in New Hampshire in the US.

Price was born in London and is best known for his solos in Foghat's classics "Fool For The City" and "Slow Ride". He helped drive Foghat to three platinum and eight gold records during the band's quarter-century career. After many years of touring he settled in Wilton in 1994.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday.
