Last chance for Oasis

The Manchester born pop/rock band Oasis have announced plans for an autumn tour of America in a bid to resurrect their career. The tour that will feature support from Jet and Kasabian.

Oasis have not yet released a full concert date list but have confirmed a September 25 stop in Houston, tickets for which are slated to hit the box office March 26. That date joins a previously announced September 12 stop at L.A.'s Hollywood Bowl, tickets for which are already on sale.

Meanwhile, fans in a half-dozen cities--including Detroit, Chicago, New York City and Philadelphia--will be the first to see the group perform live in the U.S. this year during a spate of previously announced June shows that follow the May 31 release of "Don't Believe the Truth," the group's first new studio album since 2002's "Heathen Chemistry."

Sandwiched between the two U.S. jaunts is a series of European dates and a Japanese date. Details are available at Oasis' website at oasisnet.com.
