AC/DC Family Jewels at No1

The new double-DVD release by AC/DC, titled Family Jewels, is taking the charts by storm.

A statement released on Thursday by the band's record label, Albert Music, reads: "Albert Music proudly announces that the 'Family Jewels' DVD by AC/DC has entered the American, British, French, Italian, Norwegian and Austrian charts at Number 1 in its first week of release. We are waiting on chart information from Germany and Spain where it's also trending towards number 1. The DVD is released in Australia on Sunday, April 10th."

The double-DVD features previously unreleased video collections plus numerous extras and is conveniently divided with 20 videos on each platter that split the band’s two vocalists (Disc 1, the Bon Scott era and Disc 2, the Brian Johnson years). The highlight is a performance on Spanish television just 10 days before Bon Scott died in 1980.
