Bono attacks Canadian PM
U2 frontman Bono criticized Canadian Prime Minister, Paul Martin, for failing to keep his word on providing foreign aid to alleviate debt and poverty in the developing world. In an interview to a radio station in Canada on Saturday, the Irish rock star said: "I'm bewildered really. I'm disappointed. I've not given up hope. I really can't believe that Paul Martin would want to hold up history, or indeed would hold up history."
Bono also urged Canadians to storm the office of the Prime Minister with protest phone calls reading out the number of Mr Martin's office live on national radio.
