Darkness' Justin Hawkins reveals solo plans
The Darkness frontman, Justin Hawkins, is set to release a solo album, "British Wail", which will be available in the end of 2005 or early 2006 reports Xfm, a British radio station. "I'd written most of it in demo form before The Darkness took off but I've only finished it properly recently. Anything I write with [brother and guitarist] Dan goes to the band but I've held on to my solo stuff" said Hawkins.
Meanwhile, The Darkness are currently working on their second album with producer Roy Thomas Baker. Baker, who started his career as a music engineer, became famous in 1975 for co-producing Bohemian Rhapsody and has since worked with The Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper and Guns N' Roses among others.
