Def Leppard's bassist sponsors ducks

The official Def Leppard website defleppard.com reports that the band's bassist Rick Savage is sponsoring 20 rubber ducks in the Yorkshire Duck Race, an English charity event set to take place on May 15, 2005. The event will raise money for the Sheffield Children's Hospital.

The British band will be releasing a North American version of their greatest hits collection, titled "Rock Of Ages", on May 17 as well as a covers album later in the year.
