Joe Perry to promote album in Boston and NY

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry is set to make an in-store appearance at a Newbury Comics in Boston on May 3, the day his self-titled solo album will be released. The guitarist will be signing copies of his album.

Two days later, on May 5, Perry will perform a one-off concert at the Webster Hall club in New York. The lineup of the Joe's band will include ex-Black Crowes guitarist Audley Freed and Joe Perry co-producer Paul Caruso on drums.

Joe Perry's new solo album will be released exclusively in DualDisc format on May 3. It will feature the album in its entirety on the audio-only side while the DVD side will include the album's 13 songs in 5.1 Surround Sound and PCM Stereo and a "Making of the Album" documentary showcasing exclusive interview and in-the-studio footage with Joe.
