Paul McCartney confirms US tour dates
Ageing former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, who is now 63 years old, will embark on his new North American tour in the autumn. The concerts kick off on September 16, 2005 at Miami's Amerian Airlines Arena. So far, 28 shows are on the schedule through the November 29 finale at Los Angeles' Staples Center. Some tickets for the tour which has been named the "US" tour will go on sale on Thursday.
Sir Paul previously performed in the U.S. at Super Bowl XXXIX on February 6, 2005.
The concerts will support McCartney's yet to be titled forthcoming new album.
