Ted Nugent: Be radical extremists

Rocker and gun rights advocate Ted Nugent urged US Rifle Association members to be "hardcore, radical extrimists demanding the right to self defense" the Associated Press reports.

Nugent sang and played a guitar painted with red and white stripes for the crowd at Houston's downtown convention center. Officials had estimated that at least 50,000 people attended the event.

Nugent is known for his extremist views and love of weapons. His official website sells arrows and blades as well as books about killing and hunting.
