Tony Iommi solo album and tour

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has confirmed that his next solo album, titled "Fused", will be released July 12, 2005. The album is a collaboration between Iommi and former Sabbath singer Glenn Hughes. "His enthusiasm is amazing," the legendary guitarist says of Hughes, who was also a frontman of Deep Purple. "He is so full of energy and great song ideas."

Iommi and Hughes plan to tour together later this year to support the disc.
