Velvet Revolver replace Iron Maiden

After months of speculation, it has been announced that Slash and co. will be taking over from Iron Maiden for Ozzfest's final seven dates. Iron Maiden had already announced that due to previous touring commitments in Europe, they wouldn't be available after August 23.

Ozzfest takes place between July 15 and September 4 in America. In addition to Maiden and Velvet Revolver, this year's acts include headlining band Black Sabbath, Mudvayne, Shadows Fall and Black Label Society.
