Audioslave rock Fidel Castro

Audioslave have become the first US rock band to give a free open-air concert to audiences in Fidel Castro's Communist Cuba, sharing the stage with their Cuban music counterparts.

The event, on Friday night, has been given the rare approval of both the Cuban and US governments. When lead singer, Chris Cornell, was asked if there was a political message behind the visit, he said: "It's all about the music".

The group, currently touring in support of their upcoming sophomore release, "Out of Exile," accommodated their touring schedule to be able to give the special performance in Havana, Cuba. Audioslave's new single, "Your Time Has Come", can be downloaded in .asx format here.
