Darkness bass player quits

Bass player Frankie Poullain has quit The Darkness.

The official band statement reads as follows: "With immediate effect, bass player, Frankie Poullain, is no longer a member of The Darkness. Remaining members have cited musical differences as the reason for his departure. A replacement will be announced within coming months."

Poullain is reportedly spending time at his French mansion.

The other glam rockers, Ed Graham, Dan and Justin Hawkins (pictured) are currently in the studio recording the follow-up to "Permission To Land".
