Fender auction for Eric Clapton charity
ABC's TV show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is auctioning a new chrome finish Fender FR48 Resonator guitar, autographed by 22 celebrities who appeared on the late-night talk show during 2003. Profits will go towards Eric Clapton's "Crossroads Centre", a drug and alcohol treatment facility based in Antigua.The guitar has been signed by actors William H. Macy, Martin Short, Lou Ferrigno, Kelsey Grammer, Crispin Glover and Mr. T, musicians Dave Wakeling (of English Beat and General Public), Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro (of Jane's Addiction), Hank Williams Jr., and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, comedians David Cross and Sarah Silverman, defense attorney Johnny Cochran, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, phone company pitch alien ALF, TV personalities Sharon Osbourne and Jack Osbourne, Boston Celtics guard Gary Payton, NBA Hall of Famer Earvin "Magic" Johnson and television legend Dick Clark.
