INXS to find Hutchence replacement on TV

Former Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has signed on to co-host the upcoming reality series that focuses on the surviving members of INXS hunting for a singer to replace the late Michael Hutchence. "Rock Star: INXS" will be both a performance competition and a relationship-style unscripted drama.

The show will premiere July 11 on CBS the station announced on Tuesday. It will begin with 15 contestants living together in a Hollywood Hills home. The winner will become the lead singer of INXS and will go on a world tour with the band, known for their hits "Devil Inside" and "What You Need".

The Australian band has used guest vocalists since Michael Hutchence died in 1997.
