Aerosmith to issue photo anthology
Since the success of their best-selling autobiography "Walk This Way", Aerosmith have not published anything other than music. Now they are looking to do something different in the form of a photography book. The book will be a photographic history of the band and their literary agent is currently shopping the proposal around the New York publisher's scene calling the tentative book "Aero/Vision". It would capture the emergence of Aerosmith as rock icons, covering their early years in high school as a garage band to the like of headlining at Madison Square Garden. The photos will be gathered up and will come from archives from private collectors, record labels, and the from portfolios of famous photographers. The text is expected to be around 25,000 words and will come from the bandmembers themselves.
