Hendrix paintings on display
A collection of Jimi Hendrix paintings is being prepared for public viewing in the near future. The exhibition includes 40 watercolor paintings by Hendrix that were recently discovered by his family. Florida-based art dealer Anthony Capodilupo is curating the display, which is slated to be shown at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, and at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in New York City, with dates still to be determined.This is the first major exhibition of Hendrix's artwork.
Hendrix died from a drug overdose on September 18, 1970 in London.
