KISS member TV series coming soon

Kiss singer-bassist Gene Simmons will try to teach some English schoolchildren how to rock in a new series next month. It's called Gene Simmons' Rock School, and it features him in a boarding school outside London, where he'll take a bunch of 13-year-olds with no experience in rock music and turn them into an opening act for heavy metal icons Motorhead. Rock School premieres in August in North America and Europe.

Simmons said he took the gig because he needed to revisit a part of his past:

And I was wondering if I was any good (at teaching), actually, so it was a chance for me to go back and actually, sort of, confront my past, unfinished demons."
