New Clapton single available online

If you can't wait until August 30th for some fresh music from Eric Clapton, one track from his new album Back Home is now available online. The major online music stores are selling "Revolution," the reggae-tinged first single from the album. In addition, the fan-run website whereseric.com has links to let you stream the song to your computer.

Back Home features guest appearances by Steve Winwood, bassist Pino Palladino from the Who, drummer Abraham Laboriel, Jr., from Paul McCartney's band, pedal-steel guitar virtuoso Robert Randolph, and singer-songwriter-guitarist John Mayer.

Eric Clapton will likely hit the road in 2006 to support the album.
