System Of A Down tour dates

System Of A Down have announced dates for the second leg of their North American tour, along with an additional show on the first part of the trek. The new shows commence on September 17th in Vancouver, Canada, and will take the quartet through Canada, the Pacific Northwest and parts of the Midwest. An August 27th date in the Boston area has also been added to the jaunt's first leg. More fall dates are expected to be revealed soon.

System Of A Down continue to support Mezmerize, the first half of a two-CD set. The second half, Hypnotize, arrives this autumn. Mezmerize has already sold over one million copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

The Mars Volta will serve as special guests on both legs of the tour. Tickets for the second leg go on sale this weekend (July 8th and 9th), with systemofadown.com offering pre-sales.
