Alice Cooper talks about tour songs

Alice Cooper and Cheap Trick are doing a joint encore to close their shows, and they started the process on Saturday (August 20th) by playing John Lennon's "Cold Turkey" and the Who's "My Generation." However, don't expect to hear the same songs every night. Cooper told us that he'd like to change things up as the tour progresses: [ click here to listen if you have a Backstage Pass] "I think we'll probably do a different song every night - like, I'm thinking we should do (the Beatles') 'A Hard Day's Night' (and) 'Help,' (and Elton John's) 'Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting.' A different song every night would be really fun to do, so the audience - if somebody comes three nights in a row to the show, they hear three different songs."

The next show for Cheap Trick and Cooper is Thursday (August 25th) in Vienna, Virginia.
