Carlos Santana sued by former PA
Carlos Santana's former personal assistant has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the 58-year-old rocker, claiming he was fired for not being spiritual enough. According to the Associated Press, 59-year-old Bruce Kuhlman alleges that Santana's wife, Deborah, brought in a man known as "Dr. Dan" so workers could become closer to God. The lawsuit said, "In Deborah's view, the higher a person calibrated with Dr. Dan, the better employee they were because they were more 'spiritually evolved.'" The suit went on to say that "spiritual calibration" allowed a person to create a deeper level of consciousness. The personal assistant wants monetary damages for lost pay, emotional distress and unpaid overtime. Meanwhile, the Santanas wouldn't comment on the lawsuit, but their lawyer said the couple will fight the case in California's Marin Supreme Court on October 12th.Santana will play Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts on September 8th to help the NFL kick off its upcoming season.
Santana's new album, titled All That I Am, will be released on November 1st.
