Rolling Stones add new tour dates

Just because the Rolling Stones are now on the road, don't think for a minute that their tour planning is finished. The Stones have announced a handful of dates for the early 2006 North American leg of their A Bigger Bang world tour. The band will make return visits to Boston, New York City, and Chicago in January, while the tour makes its first stops in St. Louis; Omaha, Nebraska; Baltimore, Maryland; and North Little Rock, Arkansas. Fan club members already have access to the tickets, and the public on-sale is either Saturday (August 27th) or Monday (August 29th), depending on the city (see listings below).

In addition, the on-sale for the November 18th show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas also takes place this Saturday. It was announced for a few weeks ago, but got pulled back at the last minute for unknown reasons.

The Stones play their second and final show at Fenway Park in Boston on Tuesday, August 23rd.

The new studio album A Bigger Bang comes out September 6th.

The new Rolling Stones dates (subject to change):
01/13 - Boston, MA - TD Banknorth Garden
01/18 - New York, NY - Madison Square Garden
01/25 - Chicago, IL - United Center
01/27 - St. Louis, MO - Savvis Center
01/29 - Omaha, NE - Qwest Center Omaha
02/01 - Baltimore, MD - 1st Mariner Arena
03/09 - North Little Rock, AR - Alltel Arena
