Springsteen to announce new tour dates

Bruce Springsteen's autumn tour should be announced this week. The fan-run but reliable backstreets.com website quotes a Springsteen representative as saying, "We expect to announce a third leg of US solo dates before Labor Day." The site adds that after some independent investigation, it looks like the concerts will probably start in early October and run until late November, and that tickets won't go on sale until after the Labor Day holiday this coming weekend. Springsteen has already done two North American legs this year, as well as some European dates, in support of his latest album, Devils & Dust.

Springsteen's next release comes next Tuesday (September 6th), when his VH1 Storytellers episode is released on DVD in a re-edited and expanded version that has complete performances and an unseen question-and-answer session with audience members.
