Velvet Revolver to play live on US TV

Velvet Revolver will perform their current single, "Come On, Come In," for the first time on ABC-TV's Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, August 9th at 12:05 A.M. The song was recorded for the soundtrack of the movie Fantastic Four and is the first new Velvet Revolver tune since the group released its debut album, Contraband, last year. The soundtrack album arrived in stores on July 5th, while the movie opened on July 8th to poor reviews and strong box office.

After cutting short a series of European shows in June and playing at Live 8 in London on July 2, 2005, the group will kick off a short run of headlining North American shows on August 11th in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, before replacing Iron Maiden for the final seven dates of this summer's Ozzfest, beginning on August 23rd.
