Best-of for Lennon's 65th birthday

What would have been John Lennon's 65th birthday will be commemorated with a new best-of collection. Working Class Hero - The Definitive John Lennon will be released on October 4th, featuring 38 tracks on two CDs. The set spans his entire solo career and includes his cover of Ben E. King's "Stand By Me," plus a live version of the Beatles' "Come Together" from Lennon's famous 1972 concerts at New York City's Madison Square Garden. It also includes hits such as "Imagine," "Give Peace A Chance," "Instant Karma! (We All Shine On)," "Cold Turkey," "(Just Like) Starting Over" and more.

Lennon was born on October 9th, 1940, in Liverpool, England. He was shot to death by deranged fan Mark David Chapman on December 8th, 1980, shortly after the release of his Double Fantasy album.
