Ex Guns N' Roses guitarist relases CD

System Of A Down singer Serj Tankian's label, Serjical Strike Records, will release a new album from former Guns N' Roses guitarist Buckethead on October 25th. Released under the moniker of Buckethead And Friends, the album, titled Enter The Chicken, will also feature a vocal contribution from Tankian on a song called "We Are One." Tankian is one of 11 different singers who appear on the disc, with styles ranging from opera to rap to world music to rock.

The eccentric Buckethead seems a perfect fit for Serjical Strike, which Tankian said he started to give exposure to unique artists:

And I'm privileged to be a part of that."

"We Are One" also appears on the soundtrack of Masters Of Horror, a new anthology of one-hour horror stories debuting next month on the Showtime cable network in America. The soundtrack album will be released on October 18th.

Buckethead always performs with a mask and KFC chicken bucket on his head and keeps his real identity a secret. A member of Guns N' Roses for four years, he quit in 2004 after reportedly becoming fed up with the band's inability to tour and release its long-delayed Chinese Democracy album.
