New Bon Jovi album production details

Bon Jovi have released their new album, Have A Nice Day. The New Jersey group recorded eight of the 12 tracks with Grammy Award-winning producer John Shanks, and frontman Jon told us that Shanks introduced the band to an entirely new way of making records:

We write songs on acoustic guitars and then go in and demo and make very detailed demos... With Shanks you go in, play along to a click track, play along, sing, right now, boom, done... And I went, 'Wow, this is cool,' 'cause the spontaneity, the excitement, the danger, that was all there."

Have A Nice Day is Bon Jovi's first studio CD since Bounce in 2003. The title track is the album's first single.

The band kicks off its Have A Nice Day tour on November 2nd in Des Moines, Iowa.
