Rolling Stones show animal instinct

The Rolling Stones have made "Rough Justice" the first official single from their upcoming album, A Bigger Bang. Guitarist Keith Richards told us that he came up with the initial ideas for the music and lyrics, then finished it with frontman Mick Jagger:

I was just sitting around one night and I had the riff down and I had something (lyrically) about chickens and foxes, and Mick said, 'Well, what are we gonna call that? Let's keep it in the barnyard. Let's make it Animal Farm as opposed to, like, being the more sophisticated, urban city stuff, and let's take things back to basics.'"

A Bigger Bang will be released on Tuesday (September 6th). You can request "Rough Justice" if you have a Backstage Pass.

The Stones continue their world tour with a show in Montcon, New Brunswick, Canada, at an all-day festival also featuring Maroon5, Our Lady Peace, and the Tragically Hip on Saturday, September 3rd.
