System Of A Down happy with new video

System Of A Down shot the video for "Hypnotize," the title track from its upcoming album, on Wednesday (September 28th) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with bassist Shavo Odadjian once again behind the camera. System singer Serj Tankian told us that he's very impressed with his bandmate's talents as a director:
[ click here to listen if you have a Backstage Pass] "I've watched Shavo progress from someone with a bunch of visual ideas to a real bona fide director, and I've got to say I'm really proud of him. I think he did an amazing job on the 'Question!' video. Honestly, that video is one of our top videos that we ever made, as far as I'm concerned, and I think he's gonna make an amazing director as far as other projects and films and whatever he decides to do with it."

The bassist directed the video for "Question!," the current single from System Of A Down's Mezmerize album. He has also reportedly been approached by Miramax Films to direct a feature.

SOAD's Hypnotize album arrives on November 22nd.

The band plays on Friday, September 30th, in Rosemont, Illinois and Sunday (October 2nd) in Denver, Colorado. Its current North American tour wraps up on October 11th in Fresno, California.
