U2 announce date for live DVD

U2 will release a new concert DVD, titled Vertigo 2005: Live from Chicago, on November 15th. According to Billboard.com, the group shot the footage over four nights in the Windy City this past May. The group will pay another visit to Chicago tonight (Tuesday, September 20th) and will wrap up its tour December 19th in Portland, Oregon.

The Irish rockers have tapped Kanye West, the Arcade Fire, Patti Smith and Damian Marley as support for its fall outing. Also joining the tour are previously-announced acts Keane and Dashboard Confessional.

This past weekend, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder made a surprise cameo at U2s show in Toronto, to duet with Bono on "Old Man River."

U2 are on the road behind their latest album, How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.
