Bon Jovi expand American tour

Bon Jovi have added another round of dates to its upcoming tour, scheduling extra shows in New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Phoenix and several other major cities. The North American leg kicks off on November 2nd in Des Moines, Iowa and wraps on February 17th in Tampa, Florida. Bon Jovi will be out on the road in support of their new album, Have A Nice Day, which is also the name of the CD's first single.

Frontman Jon Bon Jovi told the Associated Press that the song is a social commentary inspired by the polarization that resulted from last year's presidential election and the war in Iraq. He said, "In what I was witnessing, I realized you couldn't be a sore loser and you couldn't be a sore winner. Everybody has to make a series of compromises in order to move on. My 'Have A Nice Day' was to say don't judge me."

Dec 7 - Uniondale, NY - Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum
Jan 17 - Atlanta, GA - Phillips Arena
Feb 14 - Nashville, TN - Gaylord Entertainment Center
Feb 16 - Fort Lauderdale, FL - BankAtlantic Center
