Bon Jovi plan show for US military

Bon Jovi might do an impromptu performance later this week for the United States military. The band has set up shop at New Jersey's Fort Monmouth base to rehearse, and a special military personnel-only show is in the works. According to Billboard.com, the concert could be broadcast on AOL, though details have not yet been confirmed. Guitarist Richie Sambora wants to show his gratitude for the troops and said, "The Army guys were kind enough to give us their big theater they have there and at the end of the rehearsals, we're going to do a show for all of the soldiers and their families."

Sambora plans to record his third solo album next year.

Bon Jovi kick off a North American tour on November 2nd in Des Moines, Iowa to support its new CD, Have A Nice Day.
