Ca Ira not different to Pink Floyd albums

Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters has gone from the group's Live 8 reunion in July to releasing his first opera, Ca Ira. Waters is no stranger to long, conceptual pieces, having worked on Pink Floyd albums such as Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals, and, of course, The Wall. Ca Ira is an opera about the French Revolution that Waters adapted from a libretto by Etienne and Nadine Roda-Gil.

A live performance will be held on November 17th in Rome. Waters said some North American dates might be scheduled for 2006.
