Eric Clapton autobiography in 2007

Eric Clapton will reveal all in about a year and a half. He's got a target date of spring 2007 for the publication of his autobiography, and he'll write the book with Christopher Simon Sykes, who's been a friend since 1967. According to a statement, Clapton "will write frankly about every aspect of his personal and musical odyssey, addressing everything that is known and much that is not."

While it seems like it's going to be a long wait for the book, it will be worth it when it arrives, because there will be print and audiobook versions, and they'll coincide with a major box set of his music and a massive world tour.

Next up for Clapton are the three shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City he'll play with the reunited Cream, on October 24th, 25th, and 26th.
