Official John Lennon website online

The new Johnlennon.com website is now up and running. Right now, the site, which is controlled and managed by Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, is used primarily to promote the new two-disc greatest hits collection Working Class Hero: The Definitive Lennon, which was released earlier this month in celebration of what would have been his 65th birthday on October 9th. Eventually the site will feature interview clips, music and an online "Lennon shop" where fans can purchase CD's, DVD's and other collectibles.

Fans can access 12 high-quality videos on the site, including "Imagine," "Give Peace A Chance," "Woman," "(Just Like) Starting Over," and a newly-produced video for "Watching The Wheels" -- which features rarely-seen home movies shot during Lennon's five-year retirement in the latter half of the '70s.

The site features a bio, photos, downloadable screensavers, a section which accesses several of Lennon's line drawings.
