Paul McCartney: Hits are important
Paul McCartney has pulled out a few rare songs to play on his current North American tour. Among them are "I'll Get You," the B-side from the Beatles' 1963 hit "She Loves You," and "Too Many People," the opening track from his second solo album, 1971's Ram. McCartney told us that he knows he can only do so many gems like each night: [

If you just do a whole big bunch of songs that nobody knows, that's kind of all right for a club. But I think when you've got these big arenas, I've gotta give 'em a kind of night out that I would want. So that includes hits. We do some that they don't know so well and then some that they know all too well." Macca is touring to promote his latest album, Chaos And Creation In The Backyard.
McCartney publishes a children's book, High In The Clouds: An Urban Furry Tail, on Tuesday, October 4th. He'll appear on Monday, October 3rd, from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. ET at Barnes & Noble in New York City's Rockefeller Center to sign copies of the book.
Macca plays the third show of a four-night stand on Tuesday at New York's Madison Square Garden.
