Van Halen for "Rock Star" TV show?

Is Van Halen in line for a second edition of the Rock Star TV series that INXS did for their new lead singer? A source close to the show told MTV that Eddie and Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony will use the program to find a new lead singer, if it airs again next year. Rock Star: INXS cohost Dave Navarro wouldn't confirm any details about a possible Season Two, but he did say, "Van Halen would be awesome -- I'd just love to sit and hang with Ed." There's been no public comment from Van Halen or their management regarding future plans.

There's also been speculation about whether Queen or Alice In Chains might do Rock Star, but members of both bands have strongly denied it.
