Bob Geldof: Pink Floyd made history
One of the highlights of this summer's Live 8 concerts was seeing and hearing Roger Waters reunite with his former bandmates in Pink Floyd, even if it was just for one show. But it wasn't just special for the fans - the guys in the band also knew it was an important occasion. That's the word from Live 8 organizer Bob Geldof, who said Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Rick Wright understood that history was being made, both for their relationship and with their performance: [

If you look at this, you'll see Waters just manically laughing, maniacally, sort of, you know, and looking over and not quite believing, then very forcefully playing it.
