The Darkness offer One Way Ticket
British glam rockers The Darkness have released their sophomore album titled One Way Ticket To Hell...And Back. Frontman Justin Hawkins told us that the quartet is keeping alive a musical tradition that was once all the rage in their native land: [

And then, you know, you find a formula that works and sells, and suddenly the Internet comes and people stop buying records and it's a shrinking industry and you can't take chances. But we've just done our own thing and continued to do that in just a really bloody-minded way." One Way Ticket To Hell...And Back introduces new bassist Richie Edwards, a former guitar tech for the group who replaced original bassist Frankie Poullain earlier this year.
The new disc follows up the band's 2003 debut, Permission To Land, which has sold 3.5 million copies worldwide.
The Darkness has yet to announce North American tour plans.
