The Doors release vintage live album

A vintage performance from the Doors archive is captured on the new album called The Doors: Live In Philadelphia, which has just been released. It has their full show from May 1st, 1970, at the Spectrum, and keyboardist Ray Manzarek told us that it was a very special concert:

So we listened to Philadelphia and said, 'This is a mother, man! This is one hot performance!' This is - I mean, we were really 'on' that night, and we said, 'Let's put out Philadelphia! Let's do it!'"

The CD is available at select retailers, as well as rhinohandmade.com.

Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger now lead the group called Riders On The Storm, with Cult frontman Ian Astbury handling vocals.
