Rolling Stones to release expanded CD
If you like the new Rolling Stones album A Bigger Bang, you'll love what they've done to it. The band will reissue the album under the title A Bigger Bang (Special Edition) next Tuesday (November 22nd) in an expanded form. It will come packaged with a DVD that includes an electronic press kit; videos for the songs "Rough Justice" and "Streets Of Love"; the unreleased songs "Don't Wanna Go Home" and "Under The Radar"; a remix of the track "Rain Fall Down," done as "Ashley Beedle's 'Heavy Disco' Vocal Re-Edit"; interviews with each band member; lyrics; and a photo gallery.The download services will also get an updated version of A Bigger Bang, though it will just have the new songs, not the video content.
Also out next Tuesday is Rarities: 1971-2003, the 16-song CD with some hard-to-find tracks that the Stones are releasing on partnership with Starbucks. Rarities will be available trough traditional music outlets, as well as in the coffee retailer's locations.
The Rolling Stones, along with special guests Everclear and Metallica, played the second of two shows at SBC Park in San Francisco on Tuesday, November 15th.
