Bon Jovi guitarist enjoys marriage

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has blasted a recent report that claimed his marriage to Heather Locklear was on the rocks. According to United Press International, Sambora released a statement to the New York Daily News that said their relationship is better than ever. The rocker explained, "The real story is that there is no story. The truth is that after 11 years together, we are still happily married. Boring but true."

The guitarist's remarks were in response to a recent story by the New York Daily News that quoted sources as saying the couple was struggling to stay together for the sake of their eight-year-old daughter.

Sambora and Locklear will celebrate their wedding anniversary on December 17th.

Bon Jovi perform in Uniondale, New York on Wednesday, December 7th, and has dates scheduled through next June.
