Queens Of The (Rolling) Stone Age

Queens Of The Stone Age will open two shows for the Rolling Stones on March 4th in Las Vegas and March 6th in Los Angeles. QOTSA is one of many bands that will open for the classic rock legends on their 2006 North American tour dates. Other acts include a mix of American and Canadian acts covering the rock, funk and country genres, including Brooks & Dunn, Merle Haggard and Antigone Rising.

Queens Of The Stone Age have been on the road for most of the past nine months supporting the band's fourth album, Lullabies To Paralyze, which came out last March.

The band recently completed a co-headlining North American run with Nine Inch Nails.

QOTSA released their first live CD/DVD, called Over The Years And Through The Woods, last month.

Frontman Josh Homme plans to spend some time this winter working on the next installment in his series of Desert Sessions recordings.
