REM singer honoured on Iconoclasts

REM frontman Michael Stipe will appear on Thursday, December 15th, on the (American) Sundance Channel's six-part series, Iconoclasts. He will honored and interviewed by restaurateur and Food Network "Iron Chef" Mario Batali. The show will air at 10:00 P.M. ET.

In other news, Stipe joined Coldplay on stage during their taping of Austin City Limits, which will air this Sunday (December 17th) on PBS in the US. Coldplay and Stipe performed REM's "Nightswimming" and a cover of "In The Sun" by singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur.
